Privacy Policy Overview
2026 — 09 — 12
This policy applies to clipclopbike.com, the dealer portal, the container load planner, and related ClipClop services. Controller: Guangzhou ClipClop Technology Co., Ltd.
How we collect, use, and protect information.
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Guangzhou ClipClop Technology Co., Ltd. ("ClipClop", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use clipclopbike.com, browse the OEM catalog, save a Quote List in your browser, submit a brief or quote request, or use the Container Load Planner. We process information for service delivery, commercial communications, security, and legal compliance. We do not sell personal data.
Data we collect
We collect: (a) contact and brief data you submit through the website, including name, business email, company, country, phone (when provided), and the contents of your project brief or quote request; (b) Quote List and SKU note data stored locally in your browser, including model, quantity, MOQ, and free-text notes; (c) technical and usage data, including IP address, device data, page views, and downloads; and (d) a first-party attribution record when you first arrive through an ad, referral or AI assistant. It may contain the first landing-page path, UTM parameters, ad click identifiers (gclid, gbraid and wbraid), and the referral origin/path; it is retained for up to 90 days in browser localStorage and a signed, HttpOnly first-party cookie, then may accompany a later quote request. It never contains the name, email, phone, message or quote contents you submit. ClipClop does not store payment card details on clipclopbike.com; no payments are taken through this site.
How we use data
We use information to review and respond to briefs and quote requests, prepare quotes, plan shipments with the Container Load Planner, provide product, certification, and warranty documentation, secure and improve the services, and meet legal obligations. We use the first-party attribution record to connect a returning B2B enquiry with its initial campaign or referral, measure our own campaign effectiveness and protect public forms from duplicate or abusive submissions. Our stated basis for that limited first-party record is our legitimate interest in operating and measuring B2B lead generation, subject to the applicable balancing test, data-minimisation duties and your rights. Where applicable law requires consent, we request it before enabling Google Analytics, Google Ads storage, advertising conversion measurement or Enhanced Conversions. Marketing communications include an unsubscribe option. Quote List data stays in your browser unless you submit it as part of a brief or quote request.
Data sharing
We disclose information only to service providers and authorities as needed: hosting, security, and email-routing providers for service delivery; and regulators where required by law. We require service providers to handle information for the stated purpose and do not sell personal data.
Cookies
We use a small first-party cookie set for preferences and the Quote List saved in your browser. Separately, the limited first-party attribution record described in §02 is created on a meaningful first ad/referral visit and retained for up to 90 days in localStorage and a signed, HttpOnly cookie; it is not a Google cookie and does not enable Google tags. We also use Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization) for visitor statistics and the Google Ads tag to measure advertising conversions; when you submit a quote request, the email or phone number you provide may be shared with Google for conversion matching (Enhanced Conversions). Those Google services run under Google Consent Mode v2 and remain disabled until you make an explicit choice in the cookie banner; you can reject optional cookies or withdraw your choice at any time. Cloudflare Turnstile uses a challenge cookie to distinguish humans from bots. See the Cookie Policy for categories, purposes, retention and controls.
Storage & security
Brief and quote request data is stored with our hosting providers in the regions described in our records and protected using appropriate technical and organizational measures. Data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3; access is logged and reviewed. We retain order-related records as required for tax, warranty, dispute, and regulatory purposes, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent. We may retain information where required for tax, warranty, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes. We respond to privacy requests generally within 30 days.

Subprocessors
We use the following subprocessors to deliver the site. Each operates under a written agreement that limits use to the documented purpose and the safeguards described in §06.
| Subprocessor | Purpose | Location | Safeguards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Edge hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection | Global edge (Cloudflare network) | TLS in transit; server-side logs retained per Cloudflare policy. |
| Sanity | Headless CMS for catalog and journal content; storage of editorial assets | Frankfurt / United States (Sanity Cloud) | AES-256 at rest; signed-token authentication for editorial access. |
| Feishu (Lark) Bitable | CRM / intake persistence — quote requests, form leads, and newsletter signups | Shanghai, China (Lark Cloud) | Strictly factory-team workspace; no PII sold or shared. |
| Google (Analytics & Ads) | Visitor statistics and advertising conversion measurement, including Enhanced Conversions | United States (Google) | Consent Mode v2; analytics/ad storage denied by default until explicit cookie-banner consent. |
International data flows
Quote requests are processed by the Guangzhou team (Lark Bitable, §09). Anonymous measurement data is processed at the Cloudflare edge globally. Content is served from Cloudflare and edited in Sanity (EU/US). We rely on standard contractual clauses and the safeguards in §06 for any cross-border transfer. EU/UK data subjects can email privacy@clipclopbike.com to request a copy of the safeguards in force.
